A key improvement was the development of a custom scheduling application that allows system owners to plan assessments more easily while receiving clear communication about preparation requirements and deadlines. Automated reminders and status updates help teams prepare in advance and reduce confusion around the assessment process while allowing concurrent assessments to be balanced more effectively across the enterprise.

To further improve efficiency and consistency, Revolutional also developed an AI-enabled quality review tool that evaluates draft assessment reports against established documentation standards and technical writing criteria. This capability helps maintain report quality and consistency while reducing the time required to complete assessment documentation.

The improved assessment approach significantly increased the efficiency and scale of cybersecurity oversight across the organization’s technology environment. In the first year of implementation, the program completed 200 system assessments delivering a substantial increase in assessment throughput and efficiency over prior operations.

The program also improved the quality of assessments by capturing more detailed findings and including recommended remediation steps within assessment reports.
